Conference 2015

The first conference hosted by the Critical Race & Ethnicities Network took place in June 2015, and included keynote papers from Professor Ann Phoenix (Institute of Education), Dr China Mills (University of Sheffield) and Dr Kehinde Andrews (Birmingham City University), as well as a poetry evening featuring Anthony Anaxagorou, Hamja Ahsan, and Hafsah Bashir.

To our delight, the conference proved to be a success, with over 100 delegates for the the day conference, and additional attendees for the poetry evening. Feedback from delegates and presenters alike commented on how engaging, friendly and well-organised the conference was.

Please see the pages below for information about our call for papers, the conference programme and collated tweets from the day.
